  1. Do you also do custom furniture designs?
    Our designers are more than happy to discuss your ideas with you and develop a unique design just for you.
  2. Can I request a design in a different type of wood or finish?
    Yes, the choice of wood and finish is up to you, subject to the constraints of the design.
  3. How long after placing my order, will my furniture be ready?
    We generally require 3-4 weeks to fabricate made-to-order furniture, however, the time needed may vary depending on the material and finish you chose.
  4. Do you deliver?
    Yes. A person over the age of 18 must be there for delivery of the items and sign upon arrival. We will contact you to confirm the address and timing. Please ensure that it is safe for our delivery people to enter your premises (e.g. dogs locked up). Our delivery team cannot move existing furniture, nor handle electronic equipment.
  5. What do you charge for delivery?
    Delivery is free within Nairobi. Please contact us at sales@unitymakers.com for a quotation on delivery outside of Nairobi.
  6. What is my warranty?
    All furniture has a standard one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  7. How does payment work?
    We require a 50% deposit on all orders, with the balance due on delivery. We accept payment via cash, cheques, credit and debit cards and MPesa.
  8. Can I cancel my order?
    In case of cancellation, deposits for made-to-order furniture are non-refundable. For all other items, cancellations prior to delivery will be accepted if made within 5 days of the date of the order. In such an instance, the deposit paid will be refunded within 14 days of cancellation.
